When you hear « project management », if you can’t help thinking of unpleasant things to do, remember what a project is.
A project is not a set of tasks: it is a tool. The tool that allows you to get what you want to get: visualize it. Is it an object? A bridge? An event? An analysis? A piece of software? A re-organization of your service? It can be tangible… or not.
What will give you pleasure when you get it? What will make you proud of it? Its size, its shape, the depth of details, the smiles of the people who participate, the feedback from the readers…? Do you see them, feel them? These are your criteria for success.
And your project, it’s just the tool that will lead you to that success. Not so unpleasant, right? 🙂
